This must be the first time ever since I have not read any of the books longlisted for the Women’s Prize! Since the longlist was announced some weeks ago I have abandoned the TBR pile (ouch!) and switched to the longlist and it has not disappointed. Four books down and I am nervously picking up the next in the fear that that book will be the only that makes me stop.
I am surprised Sally Rooney’s fantastic debut Conversations with Friends didn’t make it onto the list – it has been one of my favourites this year (review to come…).
I will be posting reviews of the books I have read to date every Friday. I would love to know what you think of the longlist? Has anyone managed to read it all yet? If so, what are your predictions for the shortlist and dare I ask…the winner?
